Care Instructions
Light: Alocasia Polly thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Place it near a window with filtered sunlight or in a well-lit room. Avoid exposing the plant to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering. Stick your finger into the soil to gauge its moisture level. Alocasia Polly dislikes soggy soil, so avoid overwatering.
Temperature: This tropical beauty prefers warm temperatures between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Keep it away from cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.
Humidity: Alocasia Polly enjoys a humid environment, similar to its native rainforest habitat. You can increase humidity levels by misting the plant regularly or placing a humidity tray filled with water and pebbles nearby.
Soil: Use well-draining soil to prevent waterlogged roots. A mix of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark or sand works well for Alocasia Polly.
Fertilizing: During the active growing season (spring and summer), feed your Alocasia Polly with a balanced liquid fertilizer every two to four weeks. Dilute the fertilizer to half-strength to avoid over-fertilization.
Pet Information: Toxic to Pets. Keep out of reach.
